About Me

I was born and raised in Goochland, VA, and after having moved all over the country for the last decade, I decided to come back home.  I  love this town, and take every opportunity I can to be outside.  Whether on a bike, a walk around The Fan with the pup, paddling the James, or even having dinner on a patio, I'm just grateful for every opportunity to explore our city.  I have loved every corner of the world that I've lived, but it is good to be home. 

 

The last 8 years of my life have been dedicated to building my skills and knowledge in the world of carpentry, woodworking, and architecture, with the hopes of one day starting my own company.  Heartwood Carpentry is now in its 3rd year of business, and has steadily carved out a niche making Richmond's finest homes even more beautiful.  Hell-bent on quality, value, and clear communication, I look forward to the opportunity to show you what we're made of.
